Melbourne, Florida

Central Florida's East Coast

Melbourne Florida is part of an emerging region on Florida's Central East Coast.  It is located along Florida's North/South Route I-95, and just about an hour and a half east of Walt Disney World on Route 192.

Melbourne, Florida is also the home base of WhatIDidOnVacation.com. So technically, although we aren't on vacation while here, that doesn't prevent us from living as if we are.

This is Florida's Space Coast.  Cape Canaveral and its REAL space themed attractions are located here.  It is also the location of Port Canaveral, the set-sail point of Disney, Royal Carribean, and Carnival cruise ships.

Melbourne, Florida, although not a very touristy destination, has a lot to offer tourists as you'll discover from the readings below.  If you are looking for something off the beaten tourist path, Melbourne may be the destination you have been looking for.
